After learning her craft at the legendary Kevin Clark Studios in Vancouver, BC (a.k.a. 'Hollywood North') where she apprenticed in the art of showing character through professional headshots, photographer AJ Coots established AJC Photography, a studio focused on creating dynamic, character-driven, (aka 'Storytelling Headshots'). The studio is a magnet for national speakers, thought leaders, and influencers looking for an alternative to stodgy 'guys-in-ties' style headshots.

AJ specializes in working with people who self-identify as being 'not-photogenic' and who have never met a camera that wasn't out to get them. Sessions are highly directed with supportive coaching and sophisticated customized lighting set-ups that brings out the best in each individual client.
