For an actor, just having a 'pretty face' won't get you very far. Headshots that show the range of character that you can offer a casting director are an essential professional tool to help you do the most important thing: get hired!
All sessions include a creative consultation beforehand, creative coaching and the session itself is directed and supportive for great results and a nerve-reducing, stress free ( dare i say, fun!) time during the photoshoot and great results.
"OMG! I want to *be* the person in these headshot photos!" -Dill Ward, Founder of Women with Moxie International
We believe a professional headshot can and should do much more than just show a 'picture of your head' but instead has the power to show your character: who you are, and what you are like to work with and know.
All sessions include a creative consultation beforehand and a proof viewing strategy session after the shoot. The session itself is directed and supportive for great results and a nerve-reducing, stress free ( dare i say, fun!) time during the photoshoot.
As a practitioner, your clients are buying YOU as much as the craft and service that you provide.
Testimonial from a client: " I was looking on a website for a local therapist... The site listed quite a few therapists and included a headshot of each. Jeffrey Post-Homberg's stood out from the rest. His picture looked more professionally done than the others, which gave me a sense of confidence in him. The picture also conveyed his personality, which was friendly and warm. His credentials were similar to the other therapists on the page, but I chose him literally because of his picture. I was glad to find that, when I met Jeffrey in person, he looked like his picture. You had accurately captured his image and personality. Thank you for playing a part in helping me find a great therapist! --Darin Banner
“We are the music-makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams.
World-losers and world-forsakers,
Upon whom the pale moon gleams;
Yet we are the movers and shakers,
Of the world forever, it seems.”
― Arthur O'Shaughnessy

Ok, here's a big pet peeve of mine: people who believe that corporate headshots should look stiff and suit-y. I believe with every fibre of my being that people like to do business with *people*, not with 'guy-in-tie' cliches.
The whole reason to have headshots on your website and in branding materials is to communicate the real personality and person-ability of the people behind scenes and behind the brand.
